Orientation Program is organised to give exchange students an opportunity to get to know the University life, the department, administration, social and cultural services, Izmir city and all other new students. During the orientation program, there are group leaders for each department to accompany the students in all activities. Exchange students are met at the airport by host students upon request. For the first few days these host students are available throughout the day to help new students settle in, make telephone calls, use the bank and other facilities, and in general, to learn how to get around the campus and the city. Orientation Program covers city tour and study trips to nearby historical sites. In addition, at the end of first day of orientation program, there will be a get together for all new international students.
